While his brother is going AWOL, actor Chris Hemsworth is ready to become the Shadow Runner! After impressing fans as Thor, the Aussie star is now ready to take the lead in a new movie. Columbia Pictures just added some serious star power to boost the appeal of their top secret project Shadow Runner from Snow White and the Hunstman writer Hossein Amini! Per Variety, the script is based on an “original idea” with Chris Hemsworth now in the mix! Refreshing since everywhere you turn these days the movie world is filled with reboots, revamps, remakes and book adaptations! Not that I’m complaining about a few of those awesome re-imaginings I cant wait to see! Unfortunately Shadow Runner’s plot is being kept heavily guarded, Super 8 style, with only a description of an “action thriller” being revealed. They must have something good up their sleeves!
