Want Your Own Life Sized Patrick Swayze?!

Well, unfortunately, there's someone else out there who wanted it more, so no dice!
Check out (above) one of the creepiest things we've ever seen, a life sized wax figure of Patrick Swayze dressed as his character from the 1989 flick Road House.
Created by Logan Fleming, this terrifying piece of art, which "sports his [...]

kelsey-grammer-marriage.jpg

We didn't doubt the news, but glad to hear you're still in lurve.

According to previous reports, Kelsey Grammer has been pushing for a quickie divorce from his wife Camille in order to finally make it down the aisle with his new fiancee, Kayte Walsh. To clear the air and make sure we all have the right information, Kelsey released an official statement confirming the upcoming wedding. He told sources:

"Kayte and I are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer. We are planning something we wish to be a private affair among several of our friends. Anything else is conjecture and false. Kayte and I are the only reliable source for this story. End of story."

Wait, no end of story. What about Camille?

C'mon, fess up!

Joe Manganiello Does Cosmopolitan Magazine

True Blood star Joe Manganiello is featured in the current issue of Cosmopolitan magazine in a pull-out poster that is meant to be tacked up onto your wall for admiring thruout the cold Winter months. Any shirtless sight of Mr. Manganiello is worth a look-see, wouldn’t you agree? Le sigh. The man does make a [...]

A new batch of previously unseen promo photos of popstar-turned-actress Christina Aguilera have made their way to the Internets and they are … interesting … to say the least. The photos were shot by Andrew Macpherson and feature a relatively fresh-faced Xtina. The pics are worth checking out, especially since Xtina is not wearing her garish trademark red lipstick.

Thank the sweet baby Jebus that Macpherson got Xtina to pose without all the red lipstick. I think she looks a million times better when her make-up is light. To be honest, some of these photos are cheesy as Hell … but they’re not bad. Macpherson photographed some of the promo photos for Burlesque (including the official movie poster) as well as shoots for Natalie Portman, P!nk, Britney Spears and others. These photos are fun … playful … and much better than many of Xtina‘s other promo photos. What do y’all think … do you like?

Audio Technica AT LP120 Turntable A Must Read Before You Buy

It is certainly not uncommon, on any night in Nashville, Tennessee to stop by venue after venue and hear live music. Some of the great undiscovered talent is still lurking in these places waiting to get their big break in the music business. Another city that I occasionally, over the years have frequented on business has been Lexington, Kentucky. A city that is known worldwide for the horse industry and their "blue grass" is also no stranger to great undiscovered talent. Many of the major artists on country radio today got their start in Central-Eastern Ky. A few to mention: Ricky Skaggs, Keith Whitley, Patty Loveless, Montgomery Gentry, Exile, John Michael Montgomery and many more.

Music is a great way to encourage children to be more creative and to express themselves. Most children have a natural affinity with playing the drums and generally making a noise, so why not channel this energy into a more structured learning process by encouraging them to learn how to play the Djembe drum?

Britney Spears Takes A Shopping Break

Our dear Britney Spears, who will be hittin’ the recording studio on Friday to record a “smash” song for her new album, was spotted on a shopping excursion in Canoga Park, CA yesterday. Brit Brit picked up a few small things at Neiman Marcus before she made her way home afterward: While Britters was gettin’ [...]

Um, it’s cold here in SoCal, y’all. Not like “cold” cold like in the real world but pretty dang cold for SoCal. I had to bust out my fleecy A&F sweats and woolly flannel jackets … and that is just to wear around the house! It’s supposed to warm up again this weekend but, ugh, it already feels like Winter ;( That being said, not even the cold kept me indoors yesterday … and that is because I got a crazy craving for Chick-Fil-A. Thankfully, my friends Josh and Emma live fairly close to the Chick-Fil-A in Redondo Beach, CA so I hooked up with Josh and dragged him with me to enjoy some yummy fried deliciousness:

It is sometimes very difficult to get Josh to eat fast food but he was in a great mood last night to indulge with me … 3 trips to the counter later and after we scarfed more chicken nuggets than I care to mention, we were sufficiently sated. So, yeah, that was pretty much my Tuesday. I hung out at Josh’s for a while then made the trek back home. Sometimes it’s the simple pleasures in life that make all the difference ;)

I don’t think I have anything major planned for this chilly Hump Day. I do know that it’s getting close to the time of the year where I pack away my shorts and flip flops and dig out my jeans and long-sleeve t-shirts. I know some people LOVE the cooler weather of Autumn but I am NOT one of those people. Ah well. Hope you’re warm and cozy wherever in the world you are right now ;)

Ultimate Guitar Tab A Guide to Finding Great Tablature Online

Companies like Boss, Ibanez and Digitech began mass producing single effect pedals in the 70′s and 80′s, but professional guitarists began to realize that chaining together 8 or 10 (or more) effects pedals together into one pedal board became cumbersome, so the rack-mount multi effect unit was born. This allowed players like David Gilmour to re-create their incredible recorded sounds in a live setting.

Cheap Rogers Waters Tickets Where to Find Them?

The first impressions of visitors to the Le Marche region are usually a feeling of having stepped back in time, or, intruded slightly on a scene from a historical play, as locals continue to live life, unaffected by the stresses of modern living. The life of a "Marchegiana", or inhabitant of Le Marche, remains steadfastly focused on the family and the communities that cluster around the rosy medieval towns that adorn Marche's wonderful rolling countryside.

And you don't need the most expensive guitar in the line to get the quality you'd expect from such a brand. This is true for a lot of reasons.

Guitar Looping Pedals: What Is a Looping Pedal?

Rockabilly music is deceptive. It's a simple, straight-forward musical style. The instrumentation on the typical rockabilly recording or live act isn't going to amaze you in its complexity. The truth is, it will probably not even surprise you. Its song structures and chord progressions are generally extremely predictable. Its lyrics are rarely earth shattering in their revelation. In fact, they don't even try to be. The themes of rockabilly songs just don't run all that deep. And yet, rockabilly music still somehow manages to serve as an amazing illustration of all that is good and right about music.

In the 80's, tape loops gave way to digital loops, which began the key cross-over to allowing the average guitarist access to this amazing tool for songwriting, practicing and performing.

The word "rasgueo," embraces all of the Flamenco strumming techniques using one or more fingers of your right hand. 'Rasgueado' (from the Spanish verb "rasguear") is an alternative term you may hear when discussing these techniques. Here we meet two of the commonest kinds of rasgueo, the single stroke with the index finger and the longer roll of the four-stroke rasgueo.

A Good Rockabilly Tune Delivers a Punch

Violin maintenance is very important in order to keep the instrument and it's accessories looking like new and lasting longer. There are three reasons for this. Firstly you want the violin to look great while you or your child are playing it, especially in front of an audience. Secondly, if you have bought a smaller sized violin for a child, it is likely that you will soon have to upgrade to a larger size. You will then have the old violin to sell on. It needs to be like new so you can get the best sale price.

From DJ to Performer: A Guide to Becoming a Great DJ And a Great Performer

We all have seen a lot of song contests on television or in school, college, societies and other social events. And everyone has a different opinion about the credibility and genuineness of these song contests. Most of the people who have a negative opinion about song contests are either totally unaware of want they are saying or have not been able to win a song contest in past. Its the frustration speaking, not the man. We should be smart enough to believe what we want to believe rather than be affected by someone's opinion.
