VIDEO: Linkin Park Packs Red Square For Transformers 3

As part of Linkin Park’s ongoing musical involvement with the Transformers franchise, the band drew thousands to Red Square in Moscow for a special performance. We’ve been inundated with trailers for Dark Of The Moon, giving us rousing sneak peeks into the epic CGI and special effects that have been a mainstay for the films. Part of the ground breaking effort to stuff the film down our throats includes one of the most innovative bands of our time; Linkin Park. The band has been involved with the franchise since the very beginning, with a single for each of the films so far. Their new track “Iridescent” will be released as part of the third movie’s soundtrack. One of a kind special effects come along with a one of a kind band. LP is the perfect combo for the movies because of their technologically advanced sound. While their split was said to be amicable, we've just learned that it was actually Kyle Howard's decision to end thing with Lauren Conrad. Reportedly, Kyle took issue with LC's reality show fame, fearing it would conflict with his big career plans. A source explains:

"He saw the relationship as distracting from his goal of being the next Robert De Niro. He wasn't supportive of her career."

Huh! At least she had one! The next Bobby De Niro, you say? Maybe then you shoudn't have made a career on TELEVISION? BTW - at lease people watch Lauren's shows!!!

That seems harsh, but trust us, we're holding back, especially since we've learned that Lauren isn't taking the break up do well. Apparently, she had planned on a life with his man, marriage and kids and all that. Now, she's simply "heartbroken" and isn't sure where to go from here!

SAD!!! Girl, forget him! There is someone out there for you that isn't going to break your heart, smash your dreams or judge your career. Go out and find him ... and ask him if he has a brother!

Real World's most volatile bad boy ‘Puck' David Rainey has been arrested and charged in a domestic violence case. Puck was taken into custody last week by the LAPD and booked on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

Cohabitant? That has to mean a new girlfriend, right? They couldn't mean his son, who Puck's already sufficiently traumatized for life when he got behind the wheel of their car drunk and flipped it into a San Diego creek with the 8-year-old boy trapped in the backseat. They would specify if he had hurt a minor, right?

Ugh! This guy really has some serious issues, issues we don't think he has ever really dealt with or ben punished for. Hopefully, this latest violent act didn't leave anyone too badly hurt!

After a pretty bizzy weekend, I decided to chill out at home and keep things nice and quiet … so it was the perfect time to rock out to the 3 best Nine Inch Nails albums of all time. I’ve been fortunate to find vinyl copies of The Downward Spiral, The Fragile and Year Zero and last night was my time to listen to them all in full, in sequence.

Without a doubt, NIN is my all time fave band of all time. Listening to these masterpiece albums on vinyl just reminded me of the genius of Nine Inch Nails. I have never listened to these albums in order on vinyl before and it was truly fantastic. We are so lucky to have NIN music … and luckier still that Trent Reznor continues to make new music. The Year Zero vinyl is really freakin’ cool … the B side of the second LP is etched with a really cool design. There is no music on this side, just the cool etching. i’m not sure how your Monday night turned out but mine was really fun. If you get the chance, I highly recommend that you listen to NIN on vinyl … it will take your love of the music to a whole other level.

The President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Tom Sherak, has announced his picks for Oscar's producers.

Both Brett Ratner and Don Mischer got the lucky taps, honoring Ratner with his first run and Mischer with his second.

Though no explanation is really needed for these two, President Sherak enthusiastically describes his decision:

I was so impressed with Brett when I met with him to discuss the Oscar show. He has an incredible love of film and its history and is a true student of the business of movies. He’s unbelievably creative and knows how to take risks that are both interesting and inspiring. Together with Don Mischer – who, by the way, just earned an Emmy nomination for his work on the 83rd Academy Awards – I think these two will give us a fantastic Oscar show that you won’t want to miss.

Oooh, we can't wait! For Hollywood lovers, this is like the Super Bowl so knowing there are great producers means a lot!

NBC wants Sean Hayes back... and so do we!

Apparently the network wants Sean back in front of the camera, as they're developing a new sitcom concept with him!

NBC’s entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt just told TV critics at their summer press tour that one of his goals is to bring Hayes back in front of the camera into a new comedy.

Without specifying details, Greenblatt says he’s developing a concept with Hayes, who’s worked as a producer in recent years on shows like TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland and NBC’s upcoming Grimm.

Color us excited, because we think this is a fantastic idea!

We just hope it's a sitcom without a laugh track -- one in the vein of Parks and Rec or Community!
