As we mentioned before, 2011 will make history for being the year with the most sequels ever.
Check out the trailer (above) for Puss in Boots, which is a spin-off of the ultra-successful Shrek franchise.
We're thinking we'll be skipping this one, but we're sure kids will enjoy it!
Will U check out Puss in Boots when it's [...]
Good.
We're glad they're moving pretty swiftly on this, because violence like this can't go unpunished for long.
Jared Lee Loughner, the alleged shooter from that day in Arizona, has now been indicted on 49 counts.
The counts include the three counts of attempted murder (including Giffords') from January, and adds to them a plethora of others:
It charges him with murder in the death of John Roll, a federal judge, and Gabriel Zimmermann, a staff member for Giffords.
It also charges him with causing the deaths of Dorothy J. Morris, Phyllis C. Schneck, Dorwan C. Stoddard and a child at a federally provided activity, federal prosecutors said in a statement.
We really hope that this sicko gets all the repercussions he deserves for his deeds.
One of our favorite and absolutely true phrases around here is that violence is never the answer. Ever.
But what's scary is that, even if he actually is or not, mental illness can sometimes remove the ability to rationally control what that phrase is trying to imbue.
So if you see ANY kind of warning signs in someone, let's make sure to get them help and try to avoid the tragedy that could come from it!
Our thoughts go out to everybody still recovering from that day.
Thoughts?
