Because America is fascinated with this trend of watching children raise children, a new season of Teen Mom is slated to air in January, with all new, younger moms in the cast.
The show's executive producer Morgan J. Freeman confirms that Teen Mom 2 is filming right now, but wouldn't reveal the cast list until we get closer to the premiere date. She would say that the featured young mommies were selected from the current cast of 16 and Pregnant.
But what of Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood and the other girls? Morgan revealed:
"We're doing some continuous-type shooting with the original [cast] but nothing's been announced yet about what we'll do with that."
A third series perhaps? Because lets face it - what else are these girls prepared to do with their lives other than continue in reality television?
P.S. - Are we all still in agreement that this is a sad commentary on what America is watching on TV?
